| Thank you to all who attended the Paul Chafin Memorial Jazz Concert and helped to make it a great success. We hope to make this an annual event for Lake Worth.
Thanks to Mayor Jeff Clemens and to the City of Lake Worth,special thanks to all the musicians who gave of their time and talent including- Copeland Davis,Patti Wicks,Dave Gibbel,Tuesday Nite Band,Jazz Stream,and everyone who played.Also to John Harvey for your tireless efforts and all the volunteers and sponsors who made this event possible.We couldn't have done it without you.

| The Chafin family would like announce that in honor of
Mr.Paul Chafin's memory a scholarship fund has been set up at Palm Beach Community College. The "Paul Chafin Music Scholarship" will benefit students majoring in jazz musical instrumental studies.Congratulations to our first recipient John Provenzano.
Mr.Chafin received a scholarship to University of Miami, and graduated with a degree in Music Education. Upon graduation he joined the U.S. Air Force and was a member of "The Crew Chiefs" which later became "The Airmen Of Note", an 18 piece band similar to the Glenn Miller Band of WWII fame. The Airmen Of Note travel the world fostering good will for the USAF and the USA.
